This course focuses on understanding multi-digit multiplication, operations with fractions, and classifying geometric shapes by line type, angle measure, and symmetry.

What you'll learn

Unit 1 - Develop your understanding of multiplication facts and word problems.

Unit 2 - Solve multi-step word problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Unit 3 - Learn how to differentiate between factors and multiples, prime numbers, and how to determine the factors and multiples of a number.

Unit 4 - Understand the relationship between different place values, and use knowledge of place value to solve operations.

Unit 5 - Fluently operate between multi-digit numbers, and multiply four-digit numbers by one-digit numbers.

Unit 6 - Compare fractions with unlike denominators and write equivalent fractions.

Unit 7 - Add and subtract fractions with like denominators, and learn to multiply fractions.

Unit 8 - Learn how to express fractions with a denominator that’s a factor of ten, and compare decimals.

Unit 9 - Learn the different customary and metric units, and learn conversions among each system.

Unit 10 - Develop your understanding for area and perimeter and solve for them in real-world situations.

Unit 11 - Use line plots to represent fractions in a data set.

Unit 12 - Learn about the different types of angles and classify shapes based on angle measure.

Unit 13 - Understand the differences between different types of lines, rays, and line segments, and know-how to draw and identify them in a figure.
